Zoo Day

Friday Mommy decided in the morning that since it was nice out and the baby had not yet made it's arrival that a zoo trip was in order! Uncle Jim heard the great news and decided to join them too.

Taryn "the girl who won't take a picture with Mommy or at school" was all about taking her picture in the little stands.

And one of the funniest parts of the day was in the Congo, where Jake liked looking at the gorillas... but then freaked out a little when he realized how close one was to him... I don't think he knew the glass was there :)

And the kids were very "interactive" at the tigers and they even made a trip to the children's zoo, which they normally skip over. There Taryn got scared by a weird turkey that made a terrible hissing noise at her.

It was a fun trip to the zoo... but a little scary for both kids at times :)
