Disneyland Vacation-Day 1

***FYI since I was not allowed on this trip so the family will be telling all about the pictures. And in advance they apologize, but they want to remember all about the trip so some parts that are written may be boring and there will be a lot of pictures***

Thursday morning the ladies went grocery shopping bright and early when t eh store was opening. The Dads and kids stayed back to play and get to know each other again. The girls hadn't seen each other in over a year, but they were instant friends! Then it was off to the park! Disney was less than a mile from the house so it was very easy to get there. You had to take a tram to get into the park though.... I think it was the kids favorite part though :) The girls liked to ride together.

And Jake was so excited to be on a "choo choo" that he kep making choo choo noises and arm motions and waving at everything!

Once in the park it was a little tricky trying to figure out what was what... as you an see in the Mom's faces...

Then Mom realized... "Hey I have an Ap for that!" And they were on their way to have fun!Sleeping Beauty's Castle!
Our first ride... the flying elephants. It is in the commercials on TV so Taryn was obsessed with it. Then the kids took a picture in a teacup.

In the afternoon they watched the "Celebrate Parade" Mommy was lazy and decided to sit in the stroller. The kids all loved seeing the characters in the parade especially Jake... because that meant he got to wave to more things! Taryn got popcorn for the parade and spilled it numerous times... each time there was a magic lady there with a broom within 30 seconds to sweep up the mess... wish we had that at home. It was pretty amazing!

They invited people to come out and dance with them in the parade, Taryn did not want to but the other kids did!

Then more rides like, Alice in Wonderland, which the kids loved. But the lines today were long because it was Veteran's Day so Jake needed a lolly pop to keep him busy while he waited. Taryn actually dropped hers from on top of Daddy's shoulders onto Jake's head at one point... it sounded like it hurt A LOT!

Then at dinner time we called it a day and went home for a nice pasta dinner and bed!
