Daddy's Softball Game

Daddy had his last softball game of the season tonight. It was the playoffs and they lost 4-3 so now Daddy doesn't have to go to the games after work anymore so that makes me happy (since I never get to go watch!) Here is an action shot Mommy took... great photographer!

And here is Taryn watching the game. She obviously thinks it is hilarious.

And Uncle Jim was a last minute addition to the cheering section. Taryn was glad to have him there to entertain her.

Visiting Layla

Today Taryn and Mommy went to visit with Cindy and baby Layla. Taryn loved playing with a baby that was smaller than her.

Then when they got home they played with some new tennis balls with me. It was lots of fun.

Storytime with Daddy

Crawling

Taryn has been crawling, but when she sees the camera she usually stops and smiles. Here Mommy caught a quick video. Mommy and Daddy are mean though and put her in dresses, making it so much harder for her to get around.

Big Girl Crib

Yesterday Daddy moved Taryn's crib mattress down since she likes to pull up on everything. I watched Daddy very carefully from Taryn's mattress.

She really liked it being lower.

In this picture Mommy kept saying to Daddy.. "I'm not in the picture right?" She thought she was ducking low enough to be hidden by the bumper...She was certainly not hidden.

She is getting so big... so fast!

Super Saturday... for Taryn

Yesterday Mommy, Daddy and Taryn went to Aunt Angela's graduation party. Here is Taryn all dressed up and ready to go.

But the trouble came at the party when Taryn was showing off her wild side.

But that didn't stop her...

Mommy had to tell her that she is tooo little to be drinking like that... I don't think she was listening Mommy!

UH OH!!!

So today was very disappointing for Mommy, Taryn and I. We have been spending a lot of time watching the Olympics... Mostly the softball and today the USA lost in the gold medal game!!! It was very shocking for us... USA has always won the gold, it was the first time they had even lost since 2000. It will take some time... but we will recover from the devastating loss :(

But the good news it the USA women's soccer team took the gold!!!!

one little monkey

Taryn loves to hang on Mommy's leg now. Sometimes (like in this video) Mommy is silly and tries to move while she is holding on.

7 months old!!

Taryn is getting so big! She is officially 7 months old today!!!!!!! She now weighs 17 pounds and is very active. She loves to act like a "big girl" now. She is constantly pulling herself into a standing position and trying to crawl and walk. Very soon Mommy will be chasing both of us around. Here are some pictures and videos Mommy took of her standing like a big girl.

Swim Lesson

Today was Taryn's last swim lesson for this session and one of the grandmas got some pictures that she forwarded to Mommy.

This is the mat that the babies get to sit on and take a break while playing with toys. As you can see all of the babies were older than Taryn... Mommy lied about her age to get her in... shhhhh

Luckily lessons start again in a few weeks so Taryn won't have to go long without fun pool time.

Florida

Last week I got to spend the whole week with Jules. Mommy, Daddy and Taryn had to get on a plane and go to Florida. It was Great grandma (GGma) and Great grandpa's (GGpa) 60th Wedding Anniversary. The whole family went down as a surprise for them. There were like 24 of them! Here a a few pictures from the trip.

Taryn was excited to go on another plane and got to watch Kung Fu Panda on the way there.

Once they got to the hotel Taryn liked playing on the big bed.
And swimming in the hotel pool.

Everyday they went to th ebeach and then everyday at lunch everyone would go to Snack Jack's, a restaraunt right on the beach.

Taryn thought it was pretty cool.

Taryn's first trip to Snack Jack's was so exciting that she fell asleep on the walk back.

The next morning her and Daddy were still tired.

But they went back to the beach again

Taryn LOVED everything about the beach.

On Wednesday night we had a celebration for GGma and GGpa's 60th wedding anniversary.

Taryn thought it was kind of boring so she spent a lot of time walking around outside the restaurant. Here is a fountain she found with Aunt Angela.

Taryn loved playing in the sand with Aunt Angela and Uncle Erik.

They went to a Hibachi restaraunt and Taryn liked watching the guy make all the food.

Taryn and Mommy played mini golf with al of the cousins and guess what... they got a hole in one!

After mini golf Taryn posed in this thing... obviously it was too big for her.

It was a great family vacation for them and they were sad to leave GGma and GGpa!

Swimming

We spent a nice day swiming with Jules and Uncle Dan it was fun!

Cape Cod

Over the weekend Taryn got to take her first trip to Cape Cod. This is her with Mommy by the Cape Cod Canal.

They went really early to get a Cape Cod braclet for Mommy and then they went to visit with Uncle Tom and E.J. They had gotten a new RV and were at the Cape. Taryn liked to drive it.
Then Taryn got to ride in their golf cart to the beach.
At the beach she got to swim in the water.
And the guys hung out in the shade.... nice hat E.J.
