Taryn's Weekend in Massachusetts

For her birthday Taryn wanted to go to Massachusetts by herself for the weekend. Jake got a fever on Friday night so Daddy drove her half way to meet Grandma and Grandpa. She got to pick up Julianna at the airport, go to Ken's steakhouse for dinner, go shopping with Grandma and have lunch at Uno's. Jake was sick so of course he wanted KFC because for some reason he thinks it makes him better. His fever lasted through Monday.

Sick Days

 Monday, Mommy got a call from the school nurse at 10:25 that Jarrett was not feeling well. He told Mommy he fell asleep 3 times in class. Mommy made it there in record time(less than 4 minutes) to pick him up, and he ended up throwing up in the car. I guess he caught the stomach bug Taryn had a few days ago. Once he got home he fell asleep on the floor, Mommy moved him to the couch, he fell asleep again, then he got sick after his Motrin, and then made a miraculous rebound for the 2nd half of the day. Then while Mommy was making dinner he fell asleep again. The next day there was a 3 hour delay so mommy kept him home. He seemed fine all day and then Wednesday he had a slight fever again so he was still home, but he seems to be feeling just fine.

Taryn's Birthday Party

 Although we weren't sure if it would happen since Taryn got the stomach bug Thursday night, Saturday night everyone was healthy and Taryn had her birthday party. She wanted a taco bar, ice cream sundae bar, board games and Just Dance. It was a great night followed by a sleep over with Peyton.
