Mother-Daughter Movie Night

Friday was the Girl Scout Mother-Daughter Movie Night. The girls had a great time pigging out on junk food and watching Frozen.

A Crazy Kurt Gallagher

So this Kurt concert was interesting for my boys and Jake has deleted all evidence of the event from my phone, but there was a little issue by the microphone for Jake and Jarrett ending with Jarrett crying that Jake ruined his song. Luckily Jarrett got to go up again later and sing. All is well now.

I'm Probably the Best Dog Ever

Muscoot Farm Field Trip

Wednesday morning the boys' preschool had a field trip to Muscoot Farm and of course it was lightly raining the whole time. The kids had lots of fun though. They got to ride the bus, see an horse get his nails trimmed, see the new baby animals and go on a hay ride. Jarrett was supposed to go on the earlier ride but Jake wanted me to stay with him too and there wasn't room for Jarrett and I on Jake's hay ride... it was quite the ordeal... luckily there was just enough room to squeeze us on and Jarrett was soooo happy to be on the ride with Jake he just kept hugging him.

Jake went home and drew these pictures on post-its, didn't tell Mommy what they were just that he wanted to bring them to school and then when she picked him up she saw tat he had drawn these for his class.

Mommy in the News

This picture of Mommy from a 1987 newspaper made its way onto Facebook via a Northbridge site.

Memorial Day Weekend

Memorial Day weekend Grandma and Grandpa came down to watch the soccer and baseball games on Saturday and Sunday they took Taryn and Jake to see Mary Poppins at the Westchester Broadway. It was a lot of fun. It was long, but the kids did really well.

Monday there was a baby deer in our back yard (fawn) looking for its mom, Daddy golfed, Mommy took the kids to the Yorktown Parade with the Case Family, and then they headed to The Dolan's for  BBQ and some swimming! Thank goodness Amanda was there to jump in and rescue kids ;-)

Jarrett is 3

So the little guy made it to 3 on Friday! Leading up to this 3 year mark, Jarrett has proved to be a boy with a mind of his own. His sass, spunk, determination, persistence, and cuteness get him a lot of attention everywhere he goes. He likes music and has a lot of rhythm. He loves to play outside and in the sand. Obviously from the pictures you can see he is not afraid of mud and actually loves worms. He also likes to play dress up with his sister. With Jarrett there is no real middle ground. He either loves you or hates you and isn't afraid to tell you all about it! :-) He adds a joyous chaos to our lives and is certainly irreplaceable. Happy 3rd Birthday Buddy!

His 3 year stats are... Height 38 inches (65th percentile) and weight 31 lbs (43rd percentile).
