Party Day!

Saturday Mommy took Taryn to her double header of Club Fit birthday parties. the first one was for her friend Ariana. Jarrett was with them for this one (because Daddy had taken Jake to a party in CT). Taryn was such a great big sister the whole party.

While they were at club fit Daddy and Jake were bowling for Joshua's 5th birthday! Jake had lots of fun bowling and making pirate hats.

The next Club Fit Party was for Isabella. Daddy had come to pick up Jarrett so it was just Mommy and Taryn for this one.

Jake in the car

Earlier on Thursday Jake was sitting in the front seat waiting for Taryn to be done with school.... In the afternoon he was riding to Karate class when Mommy looked back to see this.

MLK Day

Monday we had a great relaxed day of doing nothing but playing board game, like the new Disney Headbandz game Taryn got for her birthday. Jake was the funniest with this game. You are supposed to ask yes or no questions to try to figure out who is on your headband before the timer runs out, but every time we would ask a question Jake would yell out who we were guessing (eg. Nick had Captain Hook and asked " Is it a boy?" and Jake yells "yeah, it is it's Captain Hook!" so proud.) It might take a few more times playing until Jake gets the hang of it but he had us all cracking up that's for sure! Then we watched some movies, played, cleaned up a bit and decided to go to a hibachi place for dinner.
The kids enjoyed the hibachi, they hadn't\'t been since right before Jarrett was born. And Mommy loves watching them eat with chopsticks, they do a great job!

Taryn's Family- Blue Sky Party

The second party started at 4 for family and blue sky family. It was pretty much the same stuff as the first party, but not as much of the organized activities because the kids were running around crazy! This party the camera died so we have a few iphone pictures to capture the memories :)

Overall she had a great day and we had minimal desserts left over when you think about the amount Mommy made, but lots of pizza left over!

Taryn's School Friend Party

Sunday Taryn had 2 parties (both at our house) the first one was for about 20 or so "school friends" (and friends she used to go to school with or have classes with that she still sees regularly)  from 11-2.  Jake was very excited that Max was able to come because it was pretty much all girls. They were very cute and played in Jake's room the entire time. The girls on the other hand made fairy wings and wands, played "Give Tinker Bell Her Wand", played in Taryn's room, for some reason kept playing in Daddy's office where all the coats were, and then of course took turns hitting the pinata!

Jarrett passed out right after the food so missed the pinata. Luckily Uncle Jim had come to drop off some stuff he had bought for the party and was able to hold him.
Daddy rigged this pinata up so that Taryn could finally after 5 year have a pinata for her birthday!

 Then it was cake time!

And the girls all wanted Taryn to open her gifts before they left. They were all super cute looking at all the stuff she got.
