Start of Spring Break

The kids started off their spring break with Uncle TJ taking Jake and Daddy to the Islanders game Sunday, while Mommy drove with Taryn and Jarrett  to Southington CT to meet Grandma and Grandpa so that Taryn could go to Massachusetts for the week. They met them at Buffalo Wild Wings and then on the way back home mommy brought Jarrett to Build-a-Bear Workshop.

Ben and Max's Birthday Parties

Ben had his 4th birthday party at the bowling alley. it was tons of fun and Mommy loved teasing Merissa about how the earth and moon cake came out ;)

While Jarrett and Taryn were at Ben's party Daddy had taken Jake to Max's 6th birthday at Home Depot.

That night everyone was excited to watch the Kid's Choice Awards. Jake had the most correct.

The Mohawk is Back

Jake has wanted his mohawk back since Mommy and Daddy had to make him grow it out for Uncle Danny's wedding. Mommy kept saying when it gets warmer, in the Spring. So the first official day of Spring came and Jake asked everyday after that if he could get his mohawk. Thursday Mommy said yes.

Jake gets his 1st Number

Jake came home one night and started dialing numbers on a phone. Mommy asked him what he was doing and he said nothing, then admitted he was calling Violet who had given him her number.... problem was she gave him her house number (address) and not phone number. It was very cute. Violet's class birthday was the next day and they were sitting together so Mommy had to get a picture.

Open House at GW

Tuesday night was open house at George Washington. The kids were very excited to show Mommy and Daddy their classrooms and schoolwork.
especially in the gym where "scooter city" was still set up.
And Taryn did awesome in her PE fitness tests. In the 1/4 mile she ran it in 2 minutes 12 seconds and did 31 curl-ups!!!! Mommy and Daddy were very proud to see her name on the list of top achievers in those categories.
