Happy Birthday Uncle Jim

Wednesday was Uncle Jim's birthday. We got to celebrate with him at our family night. We had delicious chicken, corn from Papa's garden, cake, and of course presents!

Birth Announcements

We never uploaded any of the kids birth announcements, so here are all 3.

Goodbye Paquettes

Our friends the Paquettes moved to Massachusetts on Friday. We tried to spend a lot of time with them before they left.

Daddy took even took a picture of Pete driving on the last day he carpooled to work. And we went to their house for one last BBQ.

And one last Thursday playdate at their house before they left.

Taryn is really going to miss Emma... not that you can tell by the way they are texting/ reading instead of playing! Now we will have to visit them when we go visit Grandma and Grandpa!

Happy 5 Year Anniversary!

Friday was Mommy and Daddy's 5 year wedding anniversary! They celebrated Saturday night by going out to dinner! They have certainly done a lot in 5 years!

Massachusetts Again

Friday night the family drove back up to Massachusetts again this time for Jody and Matt's 30th birthday party on Saturday. Mommy was excited to get to see Caroline and meet her new daughter Greta. Her and Jarrett are sure to be good friends... although Jarrett barely woke up to meet her.

But Taryn and Jake had fun playing with Jody and Matt's kids. Jake played with Addie on the swings and Taryn was very excited to see her friend Amelia again!

Sunday the kids had a blast hanging out at grandma and grandpa's with everyone, swimming in the pool and going to the playground at Purgatory Chasm. Taryn even let Mary braid her hair. She looked very cute.

Even Uncle Tom and daddy enjoyed the nice outing to the playground!

Jarrett is 2 Months Old!!

Jarrett is 2 months old! Time sure is flying by, but we are all enjoying every minute of him.

He had his two month check up yesterday. He was
12 pounds 4 ounces (49th percentile)
23 inches long (60th percentile)
and his head was 15 1/2 inches (30th percentile)

He got two shots and had to drink one vaccine. The drink one was the worst for him. He was very stubborn and spit out as much as he could! The shots he cried about for about 1 minute.

As a 2 month old Jarrett is very serious most of the time, but he loves to be sung to and talked to and enjoys playing with Taryn. He is starting to enjoy his bouncy seat, mobile and activity mat. He smiles and likes to talk a lot now. He is sleeping for about 4 hours at a time at night now. He will be switching gradually into his 3-6 month clothes soon... very sad for Mommy to pack up more clothes!
