LA Trip- Day 2 (Disneyland)

Jarrett was not quite used to the time difference, even though he went to bed around 8:00 there (11:00 our time). So he woke up at 5am. Mommy had to get him out of the room quickly so that he didn't wake anyone else up, so she grabbed her wallet and headed to the lobby (with both of them in their PJs still). They colored in the lobby for a while and then walked next door to McDonald's for some breakfast for Jarrett.

Once they got back they woke everyone up so that (after fooling around a bit) they could check out of the hotel and go to Disney.
As soon as they got into Disneyland they met up with Chip and Dale, Minnie and Goofy all dressed for Halloween.

Their first ride (as always) was Dumbo.

They had to go to the Haunted Mansion on Halloween! It was Jarrett's favorite part. They also met up with the Carroll family after lunch and the kids all had fun watching the parade at Disney before they headed to California Adventure for some more rides, another parade, and some dinner.

They left Disney a little after 8 to drive back to LA and check in at the Intercontinental Hotel for the next 3 days.

LA Trip- Day 1 (We are off!)

After being out late on Thursday for the wrap party, Mommy and Daddy had to get up early to get everyone ready to go out to LA for the Peanuts Premiere. It was very exciting to get to go share in the experience as a family. The car was there at 8:45 to pick them up and bring them to the airport. Although the kids were fighting the whole car ride they were very good on the 6 hour flight.

Once they got to LA they got a very nice rental car and headed towards Anaheim so that they could spend Halloween the next day in Disneyland! As soon as they pulled out of the rental car lot they began seeing all the Peanuts marketing EVERYWHERE!

They made it just in time for dinner, but since the kids were tired from traveling they decided to just grab some McDonald's quickly (mainly for the Peanuts toys).
Then they headed to Downtown Disney, walked around, went to the Lego store and then headed back to the hotel because everyone was tired.

They did not go to bed though. Their room had an amazing view of the parks and the fireworks. Jarrett didn't get to see the fireworks, because they were so late (9:00 there so midnight our time). But everyone else really enjoyed them.

The Peanuts Movie NYC Screening and Wrap Party

Thursday night Mommy and Daddy went to The Peanuts Movie NYC Screening and Wrap Party. It was so exciting for them to get to celebrate the movie Daddy has put so much effort into (even if Mommy wasn't feeling well). They had lots of fun, loved the movie and Mommy says that everyone kept telling her how great a job Daddy did on this film! We are all very proud.
