Apple Picking

Daddy might have some pictures to add from his phone, but Sunday the family went apple picking at Winken's Farm. They had lots of fun and got tons of apples!

And the kids loved jumping off the hay pile.

Soccer Progress

 Week 2 of soccer and Taryn watched without complaint, but was still not ready to play. Jake Loved it just as much as the week before and scored 3 goals!

 Jake was very cute and wanted to go to Panera on Wednesday. Of course mommy said yes.

Jake the Star Student

Jake got his first homework assignment of the year and was excited to start... then frustrated... then finished up the next day with Daddy.

Football Sunday

Sunday Daddy had friends from work over to watch football. The kids went with Mommy in the morning to get stuff from BJs and were psyched to see the wicked witch.

First Day of Soccer!!!!

Saturday afternoon was Taryn and Jake''s first day of soccer. They both have a 45 minute practice and then a 45 minute game. Jake was very excited to play and Taryn started to get nervous before going to the field. Jake has #5 in honor of Daddy and Uncle Danny's old soccer #. And Taryn has 7 which was Mommy's high school soccer #. 

Jake met up with some of his friends as soon as we got to the field. Gavin is on the orange team and his friend Jake is on teh red team.

Taryn was very shy and did not want to participate this week. So this week she worked on standing with her team instead of on Mommy's feet :-) Next week she is going to try the practice but not the game.

Jake (with the help of his awesome coach... Daddy) had a blast and scored 2 goals. He was full of smiles and loved every second of it. He thought it was super cool that his Dad was the coach and even kept saying "That's my Dad." and "Dad you're so funny."

It was a great 1st week of soccer.

Kindergarten Activity Night

 Friday night Mommy and Daddy took Taryn and Jake to Taryn's Kindergarten Activity Night at school. Taryn had fun introducing us to her new friends and doing the crafts. 

 And both kids loved it when Mr. Norman the principal read them a story.
