More Pictures from Jarrett's First Week!!!

Jarrett's first week home was a busy one for everyone. Taryn and Jake spent lots of time playing with Daddy, Jarrett had a doctor's appointment, they went to pretty much every store you can imagine, the zoo, had cookouts, visitors, and so much more. Taryn and Jake are just in love with their new brother. They want to hold him all the time, and Jarrett seems to really like it when they do.

At his check up Thursday, the day after he came home from the hospital, his jaundice was getting better and he went from 7lbs 10 ounces (his hospital discharge weight) to 7 lbs 13 ounces that next morning! So he appears to be a good eater!

He has had lots of time to play with his brother and sister, he is awake a lot in the morning and they will read him stories and bring him toys. Then he likes to nap a lot in the afternoons still.

And he even had his first sponge bath... as you can see he loved it :)

Tommy and EJ Visit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Friday Tommy and EJ came down in the afternoon to visit and meet Jarrett! Mommy was soooo excited that they got to come because it had been over 15 months since they had seen Tommy last. He was stationed in Naples, Italy but now is going to be stationed at an Air Force base in Nebraska for the next 3 years! We are glad to have him back in the US after 4 years!

The kids loved having them visit! They played outside, with water, downstairs, with balls, pretty much everything that they could play with they did! Friday night we had a BBQ with the Antonuccio family and Baby Ben and Jarrett got to meet!

All the activity made both EJ and Jarrett tired!

Saturday morning we took Tommy to the Bronx Zoo. EJ gets to go with us all the time but the last time they brought Tommy there was before Mommy and Daddy were married. It was also Jarrett's first trip to the zoo! As you can see he LOVED it!

Later that afternoon Uncle Brian came down, hung out for a bit, then went with Daddy and Tommy into NYC to meet Uncle TJ and go out with Tommy. The main destination for the night was McSorley's Old Ale House. They stayed overnight in a fancy hotel and came back the next day.

Sunday Brian and EJ had to get back in the afternoon, but Tommy got to stay and go to a cookout with the family at Mama and Papa's house. They were all very excited to get some extra time with Tommy and the whole Bruno family couldn't believe how much he had "grown up". They hadn't seen him since before he went into the Navy!
Unfortunately for us, Tommy had to drive home Sunday night so he could march with his Dad in the Grafton Memorial Day Parade. It was sooooo great to have had the time with him that we did!

Jarrett Comes Home!!

Wednesday morning Mommy let Daddy sleep in on his favorite pullout hospital bed/ chair while she waited to see how Jarrett's jaundice was doing. They were both very happy to hear that Jarrett was only a 12.1 on the biliruben scale, so as long as Mommy nursed him pretty much all day he was good to go home. They requested an early discharge and headed home from the hospital at 10 AM on a beautiful day to see the family!

Once home, Jarrett was welcomed by everyone and he spent most of his day sleeping!
