Other Adventures From Our Weekend

On Saturday morning Mommy, Daddy, Grandma, Taryn and Jake went to watch Cousin Lucas play baseball. (He is the one on first base) He did really well and got 3 hits while they were watching! Taryn had fun watching him play and playing with her other cousin Joseph.

Later that day they went swimming over at Uncle Steve and Aunt Rose's pool.

Sunday they went to West End Creamery for some ice cream and to see the animals at the farm there. It was messy... I wish I had been there to lick up all that wasted ice cream!

Uncle Dan Graduates from Law School

On Friday Uncle Dan graduated from New England Law School in Boston. The family went to the Wang Theater to watch him get his diploma.

The kids were very good during the whole ceremony, especially Jake who was very impressed with his new Nike sneakers. :)

We were all very proud of Uncle Dan for his hard work over the last 4 years. Here are some family photos after the ceremony. Taryn was not quite sure what to make of his outfit!

After the graduation they spent the day in Boston.

Uncle Dan had gotten them all Swan Boat tickets.

These boats are powered by the guy in the back pedaling. It was a very nice day and very relaxing to take a nice ride on the water looking at the baby ducklings and pretty views.

One of the main attractions of the whole ride was Jake's pacifier. He threw it overboard mid ride and that was all Taryn and some of the other passengers paid attention to the rest of the trip.

After the swan boats they headed over to see the "Make Way For Ducklings" statues in the Boston Public Gardens

On one side of the park there was a memorial set up with one flag for each soldier from Massachusetts who has died in service of the country. It was really amazing to see.

Jake being very patriotic, while Taryn rode the carousel.

Next they headed over to the Tadpole Playground by the Frog Pond.

Once they met up with Jeff and Callie they headed towards Fanuel Hall. Taryn was so tired by the time we got to Fanuel Hall that she fell asleep in the stroller. She woke up to find herself in a bar, so went back to sleep on Grandma while Jake continued to PARTY!!!

Congrats Uncle Dan! Everyone is so proud of you!

A Thursday in Massachusetts!?!

Thursday started early for Mommy, Taryn and Jake. They met Karen for breakfast then had fun playing with Auntie Pam, Addy and Grandma.

In the afternoon they visited Great Grandma and then went to Dinner at Village Haven Restaurant. Taryn loved the food there and especially the ice cream for dessert. The kids were so exhausted by the end of the day!

They were very cute sleeping together in Mommy and Daddy's bed.

Wacky Wednesday

Wednesday was a very long, very hot, very fun day. At 8:30 in the morning the kids started playing outside with Emma and Landon and they didn't come in until 12:30! They had a lot of fun.

In the afternoon Mama came over to paint a birdhouse with Taryn. They did a great job and I am sure the birds are going to love it.

Jake had fun watching and hanging out in the sun.

Then we had dinner and headed to Massachusetts! Once we got there Taryn was very excited to see Grandma, Grandpa and Jules and didn't go to bed until VERY late!

Jake Finally Eats Real Food :)

Lately Jake has been eating way more "normal" foods... not that mush all the time anymore. he loves being able to feed himself.

Here are a few of Taryn. Since her school pictures she has not wanted any pictures taken and says, "No take my picture. i already had my picture taken at school." But Mommy gets the occasional shot in!

And a video of the kids at dinner... Jake discovered how to make a new noise with his mouth and Taryn gets jealous that Jake is getting attention and decides to eat like me!
