Daddy's Trip to Santa Rosa, Skywalker Ranch and LA

 Daddy had to go to Santa  for more work on Peanuts this week. Then plans changed a bit and he had a meeting in LA on Friday and got to stay over night at Skywalker Ranch Wednesday night too! It turned out to be a pretty awesome trip for him. Jarrett even tried to be a stow away on this one!

Flat Stanley at the Bronx Zoo

 Monday was a half day for parent conferences, so Mommy took the kids to the Bronx Zoo. Part of the reason for the first zoo trip of the year was to bring Addy Lenz's class Flat Stanley on an adventure there so that when we mail him back to the class in Massachusetts he visited some cool spots in NY. 

 They even took him on the monorail to see the elephants, which was a lot of fun... until the monorail broke down for 40 minutes over the river!

 But they eventually got off the monorail and went over to see the Rio 4d movie  (the other reason for the trip).

GW Carnival

 Friday night was the PTA Carnival at GW the kids had a great time.
