Tuesday night Mommy FINALLY had a 6:45 game. The rest of the season has been all 8:30 games, which are too late for the kids to come watch. They were so excited to finally get to see a game this season. Jarrett had a blast flirting with the girls on Mommy's team, while Jake got to play with his girlfriend Kate. And Taryn was glad that her friend Sophia was there too. Mommy's team ended up loosing 9-8 in the bottom of the 7th, but it was a good game and Mommy did great.
Saturday morning Mommy got 2 very exciting texts. the first one was Uncle TJ saying he was stopping by and then the second was Uncle Danny saying he was coming down to visit with Mary and McKenzie.
Here are some pictures of teh kids waiting for them to get here with Cooper.
Saturday we had the cookout for Uncle Jim's birthday and then Sunday they went to the Bronx Zoo.
The tigers were pretty active that day.
And everyone loved the monorail through Asia.
And eventually Jarrett couldn't handle it anymore and fell asleep on Mommy. It was an awesome trip to the zoo and and even better weekend. We were all so glad they came to visit, especially Jake as you can see by his constant clinging to Uncle Danny!
Uncle Jim's birthday was Saturday and luckily Uncle Danny, Mary, McKenzie and Uncle TJ were able to celebrate it with us. Which is also when Taryn lost her tooth biting into a hot dog.
And then of course we had to celebrate his birthday on family night with Mama, Papa and Aunt Angela.
Saturday during Uncle Jim's birthday dinner, Taryn bit into a hot dog and lost her first tooth! Everyone was very excited. It had been so wiggly but Mommy kept telling her she couldn't loose it until 1) Daddy got home and 2) until the tooth fairy pillow Mommy had used when she was little go there in the mail from grandma. She did a great job since the tooth fairy pillow arrived Friday afternoon and Daddy got home Saturday morning! Taryn was a little afraid of the tooth fairy so she had Daddy put the pillow in Mommy and Daddy's room so teh tooth fairy wouldn't have to go in hers. :-)
And the tooth fairy brought her an elaborately folded sparkly dollar bill.
You probably guessed correctly, Tuesday Daddy headed back out to Santa Rosa to do some more work. At least he was home for the whole weekend this time!!! While Daddy was doing his traveling out there, the kids and Mommy were at the gym, karate and of course Jarrett was refusing to sleep... but he eventually did. And for some reason Taryn and Jake both decided to sleep in his little toddler bed while he slept in the spare room on a nice queen sized bed.
Morning hugs in Mommy's bed.
In the meantime Daddy spent the week out there working, seeing movies, eating out and missing us of course.Craig Schultz even got him and a few other people working on the film new Peanuts phone cases.
And Daddy was very excited that everyone made a special trip to take him to In-n-Out Burger for the first time. Ralph even got him a hat to wear.
Here are some pictures Mommy took to send to Daddy of the rest of their week.

Mommy's softball playoffs started
Jarrett was very interested in potty training, but Mommy isn't pushing it.
And they had their 2nd of camp (they skipped last week and the 1st week). This week's theme was Fairy Tale. Wednesday Taryn and Jake dressed up like their favorite fairytale character. Taryn was Rapunzel and Jake was a knight. They also made class castles and the parents had to vote on their favorites. Jake's class won the castle contest.
ready for camp .
dancing to Pitch Perfect before camp.
Jarrett went to camp Thursday and Friday.
Thursday he took a nap on his little cot.
Friday he insisted on wearing his backpack (which was larger than
him) and he hung up his backpack on his hook, gave Mommy a kiss, hug and
high five and went in without crying.
Later that morning he did cry because he fell on the playground and scraped his knee. This is the text his teacher sent me of his baby injury and the picture of him saying "I'm okay."
He decided he did not want to nap Friday so he hung out in Taryn's class while the rest of his class napped.
Some projects.
Friday afternoon they headed to the pool and playground for some fun.
And later that night Daddy came home although his plane was flying backwards on the tracker. :-) The kids were very excited to see him Saturday morning.
