Hot! Hot! Hot!

This week has been very hot! Good thing we have the pool to go to with our friends!

Pottery Barn Chairs

Lat week Jarrett got his Pottery Barn Chair from Auntie Pam, Kim and Peg just like the other two kids did.

Here are all 3 kids sitting in their chairs.

And here are two pictures taken at the exact same age (6 days before they turn 2 months old) of Jarrett and Jake. It is kind of hard to tell but Jake is so much smaller than Jarrett. He is still in the newborn clothes in his picture and Jarrett grew out of those a few weeks ago.

Fun with Grandma and Grandpa

While Mommy, Daddy and Jarrett were away Taryn and Jake had lots of fun with Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Dan, Uncle Brian, Mary and McKenzie.

Saturday they went to Southwick's Zoo and had lots of fun.

And Uncle Brian bought them a new basketball hoop so they had to try it out.

And of course swimming. Even Jarrett went in with Grandpa.

Norman Rockwell Museum

Friday night the family drove up to Massachusetts. Saturday morning Mommy, Daddy and Jarrett left Taryn and Jake with Grandma and Grandpa to travel to Stockbridge, MA to the Norman Rockwell Museum so that Daddy could do a talk with some of his other colleagues. It was a really cool day for them. The museum had a whole exhibit that took up 3 rooms all about Blue Sky Studios. we are so proud of Daddy!

The panel discussion/ presentation. Jarrett wasn't all that interested, but they had a great crowd. It was standing room only and they had to bring in extra chairs!

... you know the exhibit your not supposed to take pictures of :) It was interactive and very inspiring (Daddy says at least!)

The treehouse that Daddy "works" in :) was featured in the museum. They built a mini model of their creative workspace.

It was a great day for them and they got to stay over night at a hotel there and enjoy the Berkshires a little.

Zoo with Daddy

Last Saturday Daddy took Taryn and Jake to the zoo. they had lots of fun especially saying happy birthday to the tiger cubs who turned one and hearing teh lion roar!
