Merry Christmas- Part 2

After opening gifts at home at 9:30 we all got on the road to drive to Massachusetts for Christmas at the Collins house. We got there a few minutes before Uncle Dan, Mary and McKenzie so Taryn used the time to paint her fingernails while Mommy tried to hold Jarrett and Jake off from opening gifts!

Then it was time!

Everyone got great gifts and as you can see the hit gifts for Jake were the gun and weedwacker.

Even Uncle Brian who worked overnight woke up for a few minutes to say hi and open some gifts!

Merry Christmas- Part 1

Christmas Eve Santa came and delivered lots of presents to our house!

Jarrett was the first one awake in the morning and had trouble waiting for the others to wake up... even me, but I can't blame him it was his first Christmas!

Once Mommy woke everyone else up they made their way downstairs in their cool family Xmas pj's, checked to be sure Santa ate his cookies and milk and the reindeer their carrots, emptied stockings, opened gifts, and then made our way downstairs to the playroom to see wheat else had come! The art and train tables were a big hit. All the kids were very cute this year opening gifts, Jake didn't even want to finish he just wanted to play and Taryn just kept saying oh thank you its just what I wanted! And as you can see everyone got bathrobes this year!

Daddy was a good sport and wore his Christmas PJ's for the kids even though he claims he doesn't wear PJ's :)These were the gifts Taryn and Jake made at school and Mommy and Daddy got to open this morning!

Christmas Eve- Part 2

Tonight the family went to Uncle John's for Christmas Eve with the Bruno's... which means too much food! Everyone had a great time especially the kids who got to play with their cousins and of course got more presents!

Christmas Eve- Part 1

Jarrett saying, "Hey why did you move everything up so high... I liked pulling that stuff off the tree!"

The family went to Mama and Papa's for lunch and to exchange gifts! And boy were there a lot of gifts there (many not pictured here).

Taryn really liked her cool Polaroid type camera from Aunt Angela. She kept making the boys get together for a picture.

Mommy also got lots of cool stuff like a new lens for her camera and a new camera strap! Jarrett liked chewing the old one with his new teeth!

Jake as you can see got a new Yankee hat and a guitar.

And the grand finale of presents was their new motorcycle!

There were so many presents for everyone now rest time and Uncle John's tonight!
