Nursery School Fundraiser

 Friday night Taryn and Jake's Nursery School had a fundraiser at Barnes and Nobel. 

There was a storytime, which Taryn and Jarrett loved. Jake was a little active during it :)

 And tehre was a sing-a-long with Julie and Deena. And Candance was there for more face painting!

Happy Birthday Jarrett!!! We can not believe you are 1 already!!! You have grown into such an amazing kid. You are definitely showing your personality and holding your own with your siblings now. You are into all sorts of trouble, love to play with Taryn and Jake and of course how could we forget your temper! :) 

Your eating is better but not great. You LOVE macaroni.

 

Some milestones over the past month include your new walking skills. You are not quite a "walker" yet, but can walk clear across the deck or a room if you are not paying attention. You are talking a ton. You can say your own name (but only if we show you a picture of yourself) , Jake, "Tah-ta" for Taryn, "gog" for dog, mumma, dad, go, no no no, "alkie" for walking and I'm sue there are some I'm forgetting. 

Your stats from your 12 month well visit were 19 pounds 12 ounces (9th percentile) and 29 inches long (24th percentile). You had to get 2 shots and blood taken for your lead test. You were not happy with Dr. Stein or Keira.

Finally you are kind of sleeping through the night. You will sleep from 8-3 now so that's progress! Naps are still a no go unless mommy nurses you to sleep and puts you on the chair where you'll sleep for 10-15 minutes. Here is a silly picture of you half asleep on the chair.

Jarrett's Family Night Birthday

Jarrett's actual birthday fell on a Wednesday so of course we had a family night celebration. We were all caked out so hoodsie cups were the substitute. 

 And of course there were presents... the two big ones the Keekaroo High Chair so Jarrett can join us at the table soon and the pirate water table!

Taryn's Friendship Picnic

 Today was Taryn's Friendship Picnic (formerly the Special Person Picnic). The weather was foretasted to be bad and we were afraid it would be canceled, but the sun came out just for them. Her class and the 4's class sang songs for the families, they had bouncy castles, face painting, food and more :) Taryn did an awesome job singing!

We pulled Jake out of class to come watch and when Taryn's class was done and they were watching the 4's Jake went over to say hi to her and she was so sweet telling him to sit with her class like a great big sister! And Daddy was her "special person" so he got a necklace that she made for him.

 Candace as always did a great job with their faces.

 Afterward we took Jarrett to Friendly's for his birthday lunch and then he had a nap!

 A couple weeks ago the kids had their school pictures taken they came out pretty good :) Although when Mommy had Jarrett there in the morning the other two were too scared to do a sibling picture... maybe next year :)
