Anniversary Monday

 Monday was Mommy and Daddy's 7 year wedding anniversary. It said that the 7 year gift was wool, copper or pen/ pencil set... Mommy covered all her bases for Daddy's gift. And Daddy found a sweet Peanuts comic for Mommy.

 Since it was a Monday Daddy had work, and Mommy had a busy day with the kids. My Gym,

 BJ's where the kids occupied themselves with the magazines in line,

Jarrett climbing the counters looking for tape gum,

 then they were supposed to go to the pool, but it started raining so they did a matchbox car wash,

 Then made lion masks

 Then Jarrett tried climbing the counter again in search of Tape gum,

 Then they did some bouncing down in the basement,

 then dinner and ice cream

 then bed!!!

Thank goodness Mommy and Daddy celebrated their anniversary the day before, because tehre would have been no time today!!!

Summer at the Library

This summer all 3 kids were in the same library class (it was ages 2-5) which was awesome for Mommy. Ben was also in the class (Music and Movement). Jarrett really enjoyed the class, Taryn enjoyed "helping" Jarrett do the class, and Jake liked it some of the time... but really enjoyed showing Ben fun little ways to cause mischief. :-)

 They also loved that the reading buddies were back this summer.

And since Max was in the class before theirs they made sure to get there early to play a bit before the class.

The Weekend

 Saturday and Sunday were pretty laid back. 

Saturday, Jake slept in :-) Jarret and Mommy watched Taryn's swim lesson then everyone went to Mama and Papa's for a party.

 Sunday Sprider-Man finally got rescued and Daddy vacuumed up there since the ladder was out.

 There was more hanging out, gym time, bracelet making and of course swimming!

Happy Birthday Jack

 Earlier in the summer Daddy and Keith had both decided to take off Friday the 19th to get together and celebrate Jack's birthday with the kids. It was perfect because Daddy got home from California really late Thursday night and then got to do some catching up with everyone since he had only slept at home a few time the whole month! It was a great day of fun, food, margaritas, swimming, face painting, catching fireflies and celebrating Jack's 6th birthday!

Just Sleep Jarrett!

 Jarrett, as everyone knows by now, is the worst sleeper in the family. You can count on one hand the number of times in his life he has slept through the night and he is a crazy napper. He won't nap for days and then will sleep some days in random locations, mainly the couch or car. Lately he has been sooo bad going down to bed at night with or without a nap. then one night he asked Daddy to sleep in the spare bedroom on the queen size bed... which sounded a little like, " I seep dat one." and pointed to the other room. It worked great a few nights he went to sleep no problem and actually slept until around 5- 5:30. Maybe all he wanted was a bigger bed. Although he fell asleep in his regular bed the night Grandma and Grandpa were here... but he didn't sleep as late. Who knows with this kid. He doesn't make anything easy :)
