Taryn and Jake's Last Day of School

Thursday was Taryn's last day of 1st grade and Jake's last day of Kindergarten. They both had awesome years and loved their teachers. Taryn made amazing strides in reading and can read chapter books now. Jake is working on his reading and writing and made a bunch of great friends his first year at GW.

The neighbors had a balloon on their mailbox for Dylan because it was his last year in Middle School. If you tapped it it sang Allstar, the kids tapped it so much it came loose from the string and floated away to balloon city. ;-)

The bus came and they had a great half day that was finished with Mommy and Jarrett setting up a teacher luncheon.

Happy Father's Day Daddy!

Daddy was supposed to be away for Father's Day, but we were all sooooo excited when his trip got changed and he was home! The kids all enjoyed giving him the gifts they made him at school, as well as the gifts they bought him. Later that day we had a BBQ with muscles, lobster tails and filet that Mama and Papa brought over. We were all very thankful for our hardworking, amazing Dad.

Taryn's gift,
she likes dad because he is funny, special, hugs her, plays baseball with her, and takes her to soccer games.
 Jake's gift,
He loves Dad because he gives him hugs, he is nice, he is cool and he coaches baseball.

 Jarrett's gift said, "Dad Rocks."

The Last Day of Soccer

The last day of soccer for the Ninjas was rainy, so the trophies were handed out at the beginning instead of the end just in case it started to really poured. Luckily it was just a light rain for the hour and a half, so they got to have their practice, play a game and have their pizza party.

Soccer Season Pics

This Spring Jake and Daddy's soccer team was the same as the Fall season.  To start the season Jake was playing a lot of great defense. He knows how to position himself between the player and the goal well and was always super speedy getting back to save a goal. He wasn't scoring much and just hanging back so Daddy told him he could have  dollar for every goal he scored. He started getting 3-5 goals a game... but he never collected the money. It was more fun for him to tally it I think.
Some pictures with his teammates Nick, Ty and Liam and one with his friend Kevin on the blue team.

Jarrett and Luke were excited to be back together on teh sidelines causing trouble too.
