Monday there was no camp so Mommy asked the kids what they wanted to do with their day. They wanted to go to the library, go to the track to let Mommy run, go to the pool and go to the movies to see Finding Dory. Mommy thought that sounded like a perfect day. And of course she took some sleeping pictures of the kids for Daddy ;-)
Sunday the family went to the Curry's house because they rented a big outdoor movie screen and snow cone machine. The kids had a blast and so did the adults with their sangria snow cones. Unfortunately Daddy had to leave for LA before the movie started, but we were glad he got to come for a little bit.
Friday at the last minute Mommy decided to meet the Greive Family at Splashdown Beach where they are now season pass holders. The kids had a great day on all the water slides... Jarrett had fun playing in all the kiddie areas.
They had to leave splashdown at 5:00 to make it to Jake's game in East Fishkill. He got hit by two pitches and walked once in this game... but at least they got their cool new uniforms!
Of course since it was the last day of school Mommy made the kids take lots of pictures before getting on the bus! She even got fancy and did side-by-sides of their first and last days. They were not super excited about this because they were sad their school years were over they really loved their teachers this year.
After they got on the bus Mommy had to get some stuff ready and bring the last minute gifts to the school. She was able to get some picture of Taryn and Mrs. Wund and Jake and Mrs. Colasante.
They wanted to take the bus home because the teachers all come out to wave to the buses and the buses do a victory lap around the school. They got out of school at 10:30 so Mommy and Jarrett had to be quick getting the balloons and other surprises ready for them to come home to. They put balloons on the mailbox, used spray paint chalk on the driveway, got 10 cans of silly string and filled 100 water balloons. Jarrett also made signs for their bedroom doors that said he was proud of them and loved them.
Then right as the bus was coming so did the Mobile boys (Mommy had to watch them) so they got in on the fun too.
That afternoon Taryn and Peyton had their end of the year girl scout pool party at Kylie's house.
And then they got very dirty at Mommy's softball game.
