Geocaching with Girl Scouts

 Friday Taryn and Mommy went Geocaching at Sylvan Glen Park with the Girl Scouts. It was a great time and geocaching is like treasure hunting. Taryn and Mommy can't wait to bring the boys to try it out.

Bring Your Dad to School Day

 Tuesday was a busy day especially for Daddy. He went to LA on Sunday night and took the red eye back on Monday night so that he could be home on Tuesday. I had an 8:20 appointment at the vet for my annual checkup. I had lost like 10 pounds so they did bloodwork, which all came back okay. 

 Mommy went running with Lauren while we were at the vet and then her and Daddy went to the school for for Bring Your Dad to School Day. Mommy was signing in the dads and walking them to where they needed to be, while Daddy was going to recess and lunch with all three kids. He had fun and when he was done they realized that Jarrett was in Gym, so Daddy joined the gym class. Peyton and Delaney came over to play that day after school too.

 After the play date the whole family went to karate with Jake because Jarrett was getting blood work done at the doctor. He had been complaining that his belly has been hurting and recently that his knees hurt too. All of his blood work was normal as well. While the doctor was taking the blood Jarrett was very brave so Mommy and Daddy took the kids to Twist for ice cream. Luckily Daddy finally got to go to sleep that night. ;-) He really is the best.

Sunday Funday

 Sunday morning Jake had football. He did great getting 2 touchdowns, his first one was on an amazing catch and the second a great run.

Family Fun Day

 Saturday morning after Jake's soccer game the family went to Family Fun Day at GW. The kids all had a blast playing fun games and of course eating cotton candy instead of the hamburgers and hotdogs available.

 At noon Jarrett had soccer so Taryn stayed at GW with the Colasantes and planned to sleep over. Jake and Trey had fun exploring in the woods while Jarrett and Cooper played soccer. Jarrett enjoyed playing this week and went happily into the game as long as he was given cauliflower upon his return to the sideline... very strange.

 Then it was baseball with Jake and a nap for Daddy who was still tired from Mommy's softball game and going out after it the night before. Then Mommy and Daddy went to the Coyne's for Sean's birthday and had to leave at midnight to go get Taryn.

Meet the Teacher Nights

Tuesday night Mommy went to Jake and Jarrett's Meet the Teacher night. She already knew Dr. Plateroti and Mrs. Wund, but it was fun for her to see the boys' classrooms and the work they had around the room so far.

Wednesday night Mommy went to meet Taryn's teacher Ms. D'uva and see all the great work she had done so far!

Ice Cream Social

 Tuesday was the ice cream social at the school at lunch for the kids (grades 1-5) who completed 15 hours of reading over the summer. Mommy was there to help scoop ice cream so she got a few pictures of the fun.
