Boys Tall- Small Ball

 Friday after girl scouts the kids and Mommy helped set up for the boys tall- small ball.  They even provided most of the decorations. 

 The theme was sports. They went home, ate quick and got ready. They all had a great time at the dance. Both boys were in the hula hoop finals and Jarrett danced the night away with Mommy. Jake split his time dancing and running around with his friends. 

Massachusetts

 Sunday morning after shoveling the family made their way to Massachusetts. It was busy up there. Uncle Dan, Aunt Mary, Mia, Uncle Brian, Julianna, Josh and the kids, Uncle Steve, Aunt Rose and the boys all came over for dinner on Sunday night. Mommy loved that Mia got to growl for her and sleep on her. Julianna like the kids new ipad coloring game. 

 The next day the kids asked grandma to take them to toys-r-us, the mall and Friendly's. They were very happy and had a great day. They left after having dinner with Grandma and Grandpa and saying happy birthday to Grandpa. 

CYO Playoffs Round 1

Saturday Jake's CYO team had their first round of the playoffs. They did great and won by 10. The video is of Jake and Max doing the "sports guy chest bump" at the end of the game. 

Taryn had softball at night and then they were going to head to Massachusetts, but it was snowing and they had to stick around until the morning. So they picked up wings from the firehouse grill. It was a good thing they waited because they got 5 inches and it was slippery. 

100th Day of School

Olympics

 The kids have been loving the Olympics. Jake was anxiously awaiting Shawn White's last run to see if he would get a gold medal. He did! and Jake was excited to add the gold to our chart. 

Valentine's Day and Ash Wednesday

 For Valentine's Day the kids wanted their annual scavenger hunt. This year Mommy had a special treat for the last prize. A trip to Florida over Spring break and Easter to see the Downs Family and go to Busch Gardens and Sea World. They were more excited to wake up and see that Daddy had gotten home from LA in the middle of the night! 

 At school Mommy was busy all day bouncing between classes for Valentine's DAy parties and crafts. 

 Then this Valentine's Day was extra special because it was also Ash Wednesday. Jarrett was the very first person to get ashes this year because his CCD class was in the first row. 

After CCD the had a special family night that Mommy had made lasagna for. Of course there were more gifts and candy!
