Beating the Heat

Today it was really hot again, so Mommy, Taryn and Uncle Jim went to Target. Taryn now rides in the front of the cart, but sometimes is bossy and stands in the back too.
Then when they got home Mommy filled up the pool so we could practice Taryn's swimming and play with her new pool toys. She also got to wear her new robe!!! She sure does have a lot of people who love her and get her gifts.

New toys

It seems like everyday someone is buying Taryn a new toy... I don't mind so much but I want to play with them too. Here is a picture of one of her newest toys.
I waited patiently for her to share
But as you can see she doesn't share very well
So I have to take it if I want to play too.
Here is a video of Taryn not wanting to share with me.

4th of July weekend!!!

This weekend we were in Massachusetts again. We did a lot of fun stuff like swimming and movies (well not me) and hanging out with friend and family.

Here are some pictures of Taryn with her friend Annie at their house on the lake. I don't know why they are playing inside.
And this is Annie showing Taryn how to use the light saber (saber??)
And Daddy and Nicole playing Guitar Hero while Mommy and Matt play cards!

The next day there was a cookout at Grandma and Grandpa's house so Taryn and Annie got to play again.
They had fun chewing on Taryn's toys that day.
And the best part of the whole weekend was I fell in love!!!! That is right. This is my girlfriend Zoe! She is one year old and half lab and half boxer! We played together all day and even kissed a few times. I can't wait to see her again!
Mommy had fun too! For the second day in a row she got to play cards!!!!!! Mommy LOVES cards and tried to teach Taryn how to play too.
What a weekend!

Seattle Videos

Here are a few videos we had to post from the Seattle trip.
Here is the actual first meeting of Taryn and Aubrey. Taryn is a little rough.

Here they are again being forced by their parents to interact at close proximity.

First Day of Swimming Lessons

Today was Taryn's first day of swimming lessons. Mommy could only get a picture of her getting ready because she has to go in the water with her, but a nice grandma of one of the other babies says she took some pictures and will get them to us sometime. Anyway, she loved it... although Mommy said she drank a lot of the water! Silly baby!

Seattle Vacation

Mommy has requested that she borrow some space on my blog since she doesn't have one. Thursday they went on a vacation without me again... here is their trip.

Thursday Taryn took her first plane ride to Seattle! She slept most of the way in her car seat, but she liked watching the TV on the fight while she was awake.

When we got to the hotel they had a crib for Taryn, but she had slept so much on the plane that she wasn't ready to go back to bed!
So she got to sleep in the hotel bed instead!

Seattle- Friday

Friday morning we met up with the Halifax family and Taryn and Aubrey finally got to meet! They both sat like big girls in high chairs this weekend!
After breakfast the girls all went to the mall and I bought Taryn a board book with all the Seattle sights in it. We decided we would try to see everything in this Children's book. So we met back up with the boys for a picnic lunch at Snoqualmie Falls. Taryn got a little rough sometimes :)
The falls were beautiful from above...
Then we walked down to see them at the bottom.
Here we are at the bottom of the falls.
After that we headed back to see the Halifax house! The girls played with all of Aubrey's toys.
Then we had a really great dinner at the Crab Pot right on the water.

Seattle- Saturday

Taryn woke up on Saturday all ready to see some more of Seattle!
First we had to meet the Halifax family for a nice big breakfast! Taryn couldn't believe all the stuff she was going to get to see!Unfortunately after breakfast Reagan had to go to her softball game so we went to the Space needle without her :(
It was fun helping Aaron and juggling two babies!
The view from the top of the Space Needle.
Who goes to Seattle when ther isn't a cloud in the sky?
After the Space Needle we took the monorail over to meet back up with Reagan and have some lunch. On the street there was this waterfall/fountain thing you can walk through... Taryn was pretty scared in it. IT IS THE ONLY TIME I HAVE EVER SEEN HER SCARED! It was really loud in there.
Then we walked over to Pikes Place Market

We got to see the first Starbucks!
And then the famous gum wall... yes it is all gum from people!
I was ok with Taryn missing this part! By this point both Taryn and Aubrey were passed out in their Baby Bjorns
Then we visited a famous fish market where they throw fish when people order it. This is the statue from it... I don't know why it is a pig... maybe it is for something else but we posed by it!
And we saw Safeco field from a distance
When the babies woke up we made sure they got time to play before we moved on to the next sight. Aren't they so cute!
Here is Nick teaching Taryn to climb a tree.
And a picture by the statue at Miner's Landing
And the Seattle Aquarium
It was a very tiring day... so we headed back to the Halifax house for a BBQ
